Westport: Connecticut Guitar Festival returns to Westport Library
Westport, Connecticut, February 17th, 2022- Suzuki Music Schools’ ‘Connecticut Guitar Festival’ returns for a 5th year this March 11th – 13th, 2022. Last year, the pandemic forced the popular guitar festival onto the web, and the online element remains a part of this year’s ‘CGF’. All events can be viewed via a series of free links or live in-person at the Westport Library all weekend long.
The ‘CGF’ opens with our annual “Kickoff Concert” featuring four of today’s important guitarists across the Classical and Jazz scenes: Paul Galbraith, Adam Levin, Adam Del Monte, and Leandro Pellegrino.
The hybrid festival continues throughout the weekend with the ‘CGF’ guitar expo, ‘GuitART’, and performances and events featuring Similar Kind, Matt Rae, Rami Vamos, Benjamin Verdery, CGF Artistic Director and Grammy-nominee, Mak Grgic, and many more!
